City tour with “Templo Mayor”

The tour will depart from the St. Regis hotel. Please, check departure schedule.

The bus will take us to Downtown Mexico City where we will do a walking tour to include The Palace of Fine Arts, The Metropolitan Cathedral and National Palace, among others.

We will continue our tour visiting the archeological site of “Templo Mayor”, seed of the Aztec Empire and its museum.

Anthropology Museum and Chapultepec Castle

The tour will start at the St. Regis hotel. Please, check departure schedule.
Duration: 4 hours.

We will travel on a short portion of Reforma Avenue before visiting the Chapultepec Castle, the only authentic castle in the entire continent. Today, it is the National Museum of History. After this, we will visit the National Museum of Anthropology, home to the World famous “Aztec Calendar”

Soumaya Museum

This tour will depart the St. Regis Hotel to go on Mazaryk street, filled with fine boutiques and restaurants, in the Polanco area.
Duration: 3:30 hours.
Cost per person: $30.00 USD.

We will then continue on to the Soumaya Museum, which houses, among other treasures, the biggest collection of Auguste Rodin’s work outside of Paris.

Coyoacan & Frida Kahlo

Departure from St. Regis Hotel.
Duration: 3:30 hours.
Cost per person: $40.00 USD

Our first visit in the Coyoacán área will be the House of Frida Kahlo, also known as the “Blue House”, where she lived. We will also see her furniture and the way of life she had.

We will then venture into the traditional burough of Coyoacán, where we will see its Arts and Crafts market, Leon Trotsky’s house and the Hidalgo Plaza.

Teotihuacan Pyramids

After breakfast, at 7:30 a.m. we will head to the Shrine of Guadalupe – the most visited Catholic temple in the world, where we will have a brief visit. The return is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be buffet style at a nearby restaurant.

Afterwards, we will start our journey to Teotihuacan, where we’ll be able to walk on the Avenue of the Dead and see its most important buildings like the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. After lunch we’ll visit a store to see a demonstration on how they work obsidian stone and the different uses for maguey plant and have time for shopping.

Teotihuacan Pyramids - Hot Air Ballon Trip

In this tour we will have to leave the hotel before dawn, in order to arrive at the launch site before the sun rises. Departure from St. Regis Hotel. Return will be at 16:00 hrs.

After a 45 minutes to 1 hour flight over the pyramids we will have breakfast at a nearby restaurant with a glass of champagne, as a tradition. We will then join the rest of the group for the visit to the archaeologycal site, have lunch and go shopping.

Our first stop will be very short, at the main campus of the UNAM (National University of Mexico), World Heritage.

We will then continue to Xochimilco to take a ride on the colorful “trajineras” (gondolas) while we listen to mariachi, northern trio or even “salterio” music.


Departure from St. Regis Hotel at 7:00 a.m. towards the Magic Town of Taxco Guerrero. We will be returning to the hotel at 19:00 hrs.

On the way there, we will make a stop at the archaeological site of Xochicalco, World Heritage. Tour includes a lunch at a regional restaurant.

After our meal we will venture into Downtown Taxco, where we will see Santa Prisca Church and have time to buy the traditional silver.

Tepoztlán & Cuernavaca

We will leave the St. Regis Hotel at 7:00 a.m. towards the state of Morelos. The return to the hotel will be around 18:00 hours.
Cost per person: $100.00 USD

We will stop in the mistical town of Tepoztlán, where we will see its convent, from which you can see the archaeological site on top of the Tepozteco hill. Our lunch will be at a picturesque restaurant in the town of Tepotzotlán.

We then continue on to Cuernavaca, where we will visit, among other things, the house of Hernán Cortés and the Borda Gardens.

All tourism activities are not part of the event, they are optional and come at an additional cost.
